What makes Manani journals different?
Manani journals are made from 100 percent upcycled cotton and jute textile waste. No trees are cut, and every sheet is handmade by skilled artisans. Each journal has its own texture and character, which means no two are ever the same.
Are Manani products plastic free?
Yes. Our journals are entirely plastic free. Our packaging is ecofriendly and includes bamboo based and sustainable materials sourced from Better Packaging Co.
Why do Manani journals fall into a premium price category?
Manani journals cost more because they are handmade from upcycled cotton, not mass produced or tree based. Many well-known branded journals in the same price category are made with standard tree-based paper, synthetic coatings and plastic packaging. Manani uses none of that. Our paper is cotton based and thick, our packaging is plastic free and often bamboo or sustainable material, and our production supports artisan families with fair wages. You are paying for sustainable materials, ethical production and a journal that is one of a kind.
How many pages are in each journal?
Most journals include 80 to 100 pages. Exact details are listed on each product page.
Are the pages thick enough for ink and markers?
Yes. Our paper is around 120 GSM and works well with most pens and gel pens with minimal ghosting.
What sizes do you offer?
We currently offer B5 and A5 journals.
Why does each journal look slightly different?
Handmade paper has natural variations in shade and texture. These small differences show the touch of the artisan and make every journal unique.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days. Delivery within the United States typically takes 3 to 7 business days depending on your location and carrier timelines.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet. International shipping is coming soon.
What is your return or exchange policy?
If your journal arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery for a replacement or refund. Because our products are handmade and limited, we cannot accept returns for change of mind.
Can I place a custom or bulk gifting order?
Yes. We offer custom and bulk gifting options for weddings, events and corporate gifting. Email support@manani.us with your requirements.
How do I care for my handmade journal?
Keep it in a dry place and avoid water contact. Cotton based paper ages beautifully over time.
